Hi I am Dio!
I’m a professional dancer, choreographer, and teacher based in Athens, Greece. After living and teaching in Germany for 10 years and performing at festivals across Europe, I returned home to open my dance school D&A Dance Academy together with my sister. My passion lies in the vibrant world of Salsa On2, shaped by years of professional training in Afro-Cuban, Rumba, Ballet, and Contemporary dance. Through my journey and the guidance of inspiring mentors from around the world.
Professional Education
I have studied classical dance disciplines such as Ballet, Modern, Jazz, and Contemporary, as well as the rich traditions of Afro-Cuban and Rumba. I completed my professional education at Berlin’s renowned BDI Dance School, where I refined my technique and deepened my understanding of movement. Today, I combine my Latin roots with the elegance and precision of classical training, creating a dance style that feels
both authentic and full of life.
My Performances
In my performances, I love to go beyond the traditional idea of a salsa show. I create pieces that blend different worlds — combining the rhythm and energy of Afro-Cuban and Rumba with the elegance of classical and contemporary dance. Each performance is a reflection of my journey and my connection to music. I aim to bring something authentic and personal to the stage, where my personality and musical interpretation come to life through movement.
